Attach the Brick or Stone to your Fireplace Wall Minimize a 1-inch strip of cardboard and band the perimeter of the fireplace insert with it to safeguard the insert. Make a dry format of the stone veneer on the ground beside the fireplace wall. Minimize as much on the stone veneer as feasible beforehand. Use a soaked tile saw to cut the veneer.
